Plek Pro wins Outstanding Engineering Award

May 14, 2009, Frankfurt, Germany:

Bass Gear Magazine's Outstanding Engineering Award at this year's Musikmesse (Music Trade Fair) in Frankfurt Germany goes to the Plek Pro!

In an award letter to Plek co-founder Gerd Anke, BGM's Editor-in-Chief Tom Bowlus wrote:

"You were chosen as an award recipient based upon the collective input from all of the BGM staff that attended the Show. To put this into perspective, we are all certifiable gear geeks. We check out and listen to as many things as possible, and we target the newest and most cool gear, with an eye for innovation and an ear (or two) for tone. We were able to audition a huge selection of products over the course of four days, and your Plek Pro really stood out from the pack. It takes a great deal of time, effort, planning, and expense to put on a display at Musikmesse, and even more dedication and attention to detail to put out the best products on the floor. It is our appreciation of these efforts that encouraged us to create these awards, and our way of trying to recognize the efforts of those companies who really push the limits of innovation, design, and tone. ....Again, we congratulate your company and all who were involved with the Plek Pro. The industry of selling instruments and equipment that allow people to make music and entertain others should be exciting and fun. To that end, we hope that our award helps to put a smile on your face, as well as a pat to your back. Good job!"
