Plek pro: Service

We are constantly developing our products further in order to optimize quality and performance. One of our main service features is our customer support after delivery. Our service covers setup at location, training and full support during ongoing use.

Plek pro Setup

Our machines are packed into crates and shipped as partly assembled machine kits. The service includes the presence of a plek technician to ensure that the machine is unpacked, erected and assembled in an appropriate manner. He makes sure that the necessary connections (electricity, compressed air, internet...) are present on site.

Each machine is delivered so that after assembly and a series of self-tests it can start processing the first instruments. Depending on the configuration and version of the machine, setup should normally take from half to one working day.

Plek pro Training

After setup the staff to be trained are introduced to the functioning and handling of the plek pro. After three days of training plek operators can execute all necessary tasks by themselves.

The training course is comprised of the following topics:

  • Preparation and follow-up work of the instrument
  • Evaluation of the measured data
  • Optimal adjustment of the truss rod
  • Evaluation of the (new) fretwork
  • Working with the virtual fretboard (compound radius, fall-off, etc.)
  • Working with templates
  • Troubleshooting, tips and tricks
  • and more!

With prior agreement, individual plek pro training is possible at plek in Berlin or with our partner Joe Glaser in Nashville (TN/USA).
