The frets of my Scharpach guitars were dressed with the plek system. No luthier in this world can achieve this accuracy and even keep my setup the way the plek techs can with the help of their machine. This is not just my opinion, it's rather a matter of fact.

This 39-fret guitar, built by the Dutch luthier Theo Scharpach, has been customized for Uwe Kropinski. A special construction (bracing, frame construction) developed by Scharpach, produces a very outstanding, loud sound. The challenge was to make an instrument that projects all notes from E to g'''' in a good way. The result is astonishing. Every note in every range sounds very clear and even.
